Jay Chang

Jay Chang, SVP, Wealth Advisor at Farther

Are you ready?

If you're serious about talking, so am I.

I treat this first meeting like a client meeting. I read every answer before we talk, so we can spend our time getting to know each other and on what's actually in front of you.

It goes both ways. I want to know if I can help, and you should know if I'm someone you'd trust enough to introduce to the people who matter most to you. I'll put real time into preparing. Four minutes now, to find out if I'm the person you'll work with for years to come.

Not ready for that yet? Bring me one question instead, it takes one minute.

Just me. Your answers aren't sold or shared, and nobody else will call you.

Jay Chang

Who you'd be working with

I'm Jay Chang, SVP, Wealth Advisor at Farther. For more than 14 years, including formative years at Vanguard and Charles Schwab, I've worked with families, pre-retirees, and business owners nationwide. I'm a fiduciary based in Tempe. I meet by Zoom or phone anywhere in the country, in person in the Phoenix area, and I'll fly to you when it makes sense. We bring in Farther's tax, legal, and portfolio specialists when your situation calls for it.

I chose to be independent instead of working under a big brand name. I have no in-house products to sell and no quotas to hit, so the advice starts with your situation. I'm flexible on where your money sits, too. Farther works with Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, and Apex, so in many cases your accounts can stay at the custodian you already use.

What happens after you send it

  1. I read every answer myself before we talk.
  2. We meet by Zoom, phone, or in person, with whoever you'd like there.
  3. We both decide whether we're a fit, and what comes next.
